Brett Yaste

Brett Yaste, 48, died August 3rd 2018 in Cape Coral, Florida. He was born in Franklin Indiana on December 21st, 1969 to John and Patty Yaste and was the youngest of four siblings. Brett attended Edinburgh High School, relocating to Florida when his parents relocated to Fort Myers, Florida. He attended Edison State College in Fort Myers, Florida. Brett begun work in Florida at Publix Grocery Stores, spent several years at the Fort Myers Sears Department Store, ultimately spending the last several years at Alorica in the call center providing technical support for laptops, televisions and disk players. In his spare time he was an avid photography enthusiast, even starting a part time business taking photos for families, weddings and friends. He excelled at capturing scenic views and wildlife on his camera. He enjoyed reading science fiction, watching science fiction movies and collecting Star Wars memorabilia. Brett is survived by his father, John Yaste of Fishers, Indiana, his Siblings; Melanie Edling and her husband Craig of Mount Vernon, Indiana, David Yaste and his wife Anne of Noblesville Indiana, Jon Yaste and his wife Missy of Greenwood Indiana. Brett is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patty Yaste. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Gallaher American Family Funeral Home in Fort Myers, Florida. A private family memorial will be held upon his cremation returns to Indiana. Brett will be missed not only by his family, but also by the many friends he made over the years.
