Bridget Marie Brooks Bauer
Born on July 21, 1961 to her parents Rose Armstrong and the late William Gerald Brooks (Jerry). Bridget was the fifth child and baby sister to Bill, David, Pam and Samantha. Bridget graduated from Cypress Lake High School in 1979. After high school she became a Professional Bartender at several restaurants in West Palm Beach and the Lee County area. Bridget was the best of the best. She had the personality and skills that every owner wanted. She worked hard. But her favorite part of the job was meeting all the different types of people, many became frequent customers and good friends. The people Bridget worked with, all became her closest friends, she considered them her family. They loved her as much as she loved them.
After being in the business for over 30 years Bridget started working at her church (she loved it). She loved all living creatures. Animals were her Passion. Bridget was a member of the Grace Methodist Church on Hancock where again she shined bright. She had a contagious smile and loving heart. She made a lot of new friends. If you were one of the lucky people to get to know Bridget you would have wanted to be in the circle of her life. She radiated love, beauty, compassion and fun!! So much fun!!! She was a gourmet cook, she could cook anything and her talent in the kitchen was prize winning. She cooked gourmet dinners for her nieces Jami, Kristal and Kaci's high school proms with several couples joining them at their house. She did several wedding dinners whenever she would be available. She was better than any restaurant around. On March 3rd, 1989 Bridgets most precious gift was born. Her son Rodney Gerald Fell. Bridget was so proud of the respectful, loving, caring and hard working young man he became. He is and always will be her bestest friend. She would light up when she saw him and would talk non stop about him. That was her baby (even though he's 6'6) everyone knew him as Bridget's kid.
Bridget was reunited in heaven with her father Jerry and her oldest brother Bill on January 13, 2020. Bridget leaves behind her precious loving son Rodney. Her mother Rose Armstrong who simply cherished and loved her baby girl. Her fun loving brother David and wife Michelene. Her best friends and loving sisters Pam and Samie. Her husband Mark Bauer and step son Dustin. Also her many Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews and tons of friends. Her sweet Dachshunds Toby and Dixie.
Bridget requested no service or celebration. That was Bridget, she just wanted you to spend time with loved ones.
We will miss our girl!!! Fly high Bridget. We know that you are the most beautiful angel.
