Chester J. Baker, Dawn E. Baker and Jamison R. Baker

Lehigh Acres, Florida – Chester (Chet), Dawn and Jamison Baker went Home to be with the Lord following a fatal automobile accident on October 18, 2018. Chet and Jamison died immediately after the accident. Dawn died on October 19 at Lee Memorial Hospital.Chet Baker was born on June 27, 1967 in Madison Heights, Michigan. For the past 9 years he served as a teacher at Temple Christian School in North Ft. Myers, Florida.Dawn Baker was born on November 14, 1970 in Winnebago, Illinois. For the past 18 years she served as a teacher and as principal of Temple Christian School. Chet and Dawn were married on January 13, 1990 in Dunedin, Florida. Jamison Baker was born on July 8, 2014 in North Ft. Myers, Florida.The Bakers were the truest followers of Christ, and they were dedicated to serving others. They lived their lives for the Lord through their words and actions. Their surviving children have nothing but wonderful memories and are grateful for the years they lived. When the Baker’s son, Jamison, was born, he stole the hearts of his parents and older siblings as he was a sweet and happy boy. He had a true love for life, and he loved to talk and spend time with his family and friends. The Baker family is overwhelmed with love and gratitude for the many years they enjoyed with Chet, Dawn, and Jamison. Knowing they will see them again in Heaven brings them great peace. Chet, Dawn, and Jamison are survived by their daughter, Kara N. (Bryan) Nelson; their son, Chester J. (Ann) Baker II; Chet’s parents, Chester and Frankie Baker; Dawn’s mother, Ellen (Bob) Karstunen; Chet’s brother, Michael (Sherri) Baker; Dawn’s sister, Debbie Mattingley; her brother, Glen (Nel) Johnson, as well as several extended family members. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, October 27, at the First Baptist Church of Cape Coral at 11:00 AM.
