Ann Kendall-Long

With deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude for a life of faithful service, we announce the passing of Ann Kendall-Long, who peacefully fell asleep in death on August 25, 2026, after courageously enduring a prolonged illness.

Ann was born on July 24, 1963, in London, England, to Meldon Kendall and Carmen (Borne) Kendall, who predeceased her. She immigrated to the United States as a child and was raised in Queens, New York. After the birth of her son, she moved to Lehigh Acres, Florida, where she raised him with the loving support of her parents. She later made her home in Cape Coral, Florida, building a life centered on faith, family, and caring for others.

Known for her warmth, kindness, beautiful smile, joyful spirit, and contagious laughter, Ann touched the lives of everyone she met. As a dedicated nurse, she served others with compassion and genuine concern, leaving a lasting impact on countless patients, coworkers, and friends.

The most important decision of Ann's life was her dedication to Jehovah God. Through baptism, she publicly expressed her faith and remained steadfast in her trust in Jehovah's promises throughout her life and illness.

For more than 16 years, Ann shared a loving marriage with her beloved husband, Levi Long. Together they built a life founded on love, faith, and devotion. During her illness, Levi cared for her with extraordinary tenderness, patience, and unwavering dedication.

Ann was also a devoted mother to her beloved son, Joshua Kendall, whom she loved beyond measure and of whom she was immensely proud. She treasured their special bond and was delighted to welcome Emma Mundy, Joshua's fiancée, into the family.

Ann will be remembered for her deep faith, loving heart, compassionate service, and devotion to family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Levi Long; her son, Joshua Kendall; Joshua's fiancée, Emma Mundy; and many dear family members, friends, and fellow believers whose lives were enriched by her love and friendship.

Acknowledgements

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Brother Bill DeBono, Brother Ronald Etienne, and the many brothers and sisters who provided visits, companionship, meals, prayers, phone calls, and loving support throughout Ann's illness.

Special thanks are extended to her Cousin Karen Kendall, for traveling to be with Ann and lovingly caring for her during her final weeks; niece, Miya Spears, for her kindness and willingness to help whenever needed; to Robyn Amthor for her compassionate care and comfort; and to Barbara Toney, her sister-in-law and cherished friend, whose unwavering love, faithfulness, and support provided strength throughout her journey. Barbara's devotion and presence until the end were a true gift, and her sacrifices are deeply appreciated and forever remembered.

The family would also like to acknowledge Ann's treasured friends: Shari Brownie, whose support was instrumental in helping Ann raise her son; Cheryl Hogan, her beloved lifelong friend since childhood; and Trevor Brown, whose regular calls, thoughtful concern, and constant encouragement brought her comfort and strength throughout her illness.

Ann found great comfort in these cherished scriptures:

Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus."

Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore."

These verses reflect the peace, faith, and hope that guided Ann's life.

Arrangements

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
