Barbara Hamilton Bauer Roberts

Barbara Hamilton Bauer was born September 17, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio to Paul Ervin Bauer and Edith Delores Hamilton. She had no siblings. Barbara went to college at Columbia University in New York City and became a television screenwriter. She first married Richard Lally, a sportswriter, and then to Peter J. Roberts, and Englishman financier. Barbara had two stepchildren which she is survived by; Stuart and Louise. She lived with Peter for 7 years in Johannesburg, South Africa. She and Peter shared dual residences in Fort Myers and in their Vicarage House in Llowes Wales until Peters death in 2012. Barbara died on August 30, 2026, at age 70 in Fort Myers, Florida. She will be cremated at Gallaher American Family Funeral Home in Fort Myers.
