Chase Kingston Church

June 29, 2009 — February 27, 2019

CHURCH – Chase Kingston Church of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Bay City, MI left this earth at home and in his sleep on February 27, 2019 at the age of nine and a half.  Born at Mott’s Children Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan with his parents on June 29, 2009, Chase was the essence of joyfulness and life.

He is survived by his loving parents, Shaina and Eric Church; big brother Ashton; grandparents Sandra Johnroe (Fort Myers, FL), Becky and Steve Church (Midland, MI), Kathy Church (Midland, MI), Art and Char Johnroe (Bay City, MI); great grandparents Barb Hays (Midland, MI), Jeannie Church (Midland, MI); special nurses Treasurer Wilson and Delonne; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends at Buckingham School for Enhanced Children.

Chase loved so many, and was loved by so many more.  He had an energy that with even just one encounter with him, you would remember him for life – the Chase double take smile.

Chase had a pure spirit, with a zest for life, and a smile that warmed the heart.  Chase has fought to live from the womb. When his parents moved from Michigan to Florida, Chase’s world changed, as he was able to do so much more, including riding the bus to school.

The battles were tough for Chase with his health, somedays harder than others, although the day the Lord took him home, was not one of them.  It was totally unexpected.

Chase loved music, car rides, long stroller walks.  He didn’t care if the sun was shining or the rain was pouring, Chase wanted to be outside.

Florida relatives and friends are invited to Chase’s Life Celebration at Memorial St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Rev Dr. Murchadh O’Madagain, Pastor will officiate.
