Cheryl Ann Jessee Gould, age 75, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away at home on April 10, 2026. She was born on August 18, 1950, in Oregon, Ohio.
Cheryl was a 1968 graduate of Clay High School. She worked for UPS for 24 years and also worked at Matthews Ford before retiring to Florida.
She was a proud and active member of several organizations throughout her life, including being a lifetime member and past officer of the Greater Birmingham VFW Post 4906 Auxiliary in Toledo, Ohio, a Ladies Auxiliary member of American Legion Post 274 in Fort Myers Beach, and a member of Moose Lodge 964 in Fort Myers Beach.
Cheryl was a huge sports fan and an avid bowler for many years. She loved watching NASCAR and attended many races over the years. She was also a devoted Michigan Wolverines fan and was thrilled to watch them win the basketball national championship. She loved going to Fort Myers Beach to listen to live music and enjoy a piña colada, and she enjoyed drives to Sanibel and Captiva to hunt for seashells.
Most of all, Cheryl loved her little Florida home and her pool, where she spent countless happy hours relaxing and sharing time with family and friends. She also had a special love for rabbits and enjoyed volunteering and donating to Southwest Florida House Rabbit Rescue.
The light of Cheryl’s life was her beloved bunny, Ollie Mae, who was her constant companion for eight years. Cheryl even traveled and vacationed with her.
She was preceded in death by Clark Gould Sr., Eleanor Cramer, Clark Gould Jr., and her beloved bunny, Ollie Mae.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Johnson; her grandson, Vincent Pecina; and her sister-in-law, Marsha Gould.
