Clifford Anthony “Jimmy” James went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2020. Cliff was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1948. He moved to Ohio as a child and resided in the Cleveland area for many years. He joined the US Marine Corps and served two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. He moved to Southwest Florida in the 1980s and soon found employment with Pepsi in Fort Myers. Pepsi man “Cliff” spent about 2 decades servicing accounts in Labelle, then progressed to driving a tractor trailer delivering to stores throughout Fort Myers. Cliff retired from Pepsi after 26 years of service. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and after healing somewhat from the treatments, he served as a Volunteer for Lee Health at the Cancer Center, which brought him much enjoyment being able to help others. Cliff was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. Cliff was an avid lover of animals and plants. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. Cliff “Jimmy” leaves behind his wife, LeeAnn, daughter Danielle Holmquist (Ben), son Anthony (Malissa) three granddaughters and sisters Teri James and Linda (John) Porrello. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. There will also be a tree planted in his memory at his favorite park.
