Curtis Lee Doub, 71, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, passed away on January 10, 2026, in Lee County. He was born on December 1, 1954, in Belle Glade, Florida.

Curtis proudly served his country in the United States Army, a chapter of his life that reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment. Following his service, he built a career as a diesel mechanic, known for his hardworking nature, mechanical skill, and willingness to help others whenever needed.

A simple man at heart, Curtis found his greatest joy in the everyday moments—fishing, working in the yard, tending to his garden, and spending time with his family. He was happiest outdoors, hands busy, doing what he loved, and being surrounded by the people who mattered most to him. His quiet strength, steady presence, and love for his family will be deeply missed.

Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Landon Doub; his mother, Mildred Irene Doub; and his brother, Ed Doub.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Hooks Doub; his daughters, Diana Lee Doub and Toni Lee Doub; his granddaughters, Danika Paige Dalenberg and Kylie Brooke Joiner; and his sisters, Melissa Musk and Sherry Hooks. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will carry his memory forward always.

A private service will be held on January 16, 2026, with burial at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clewiston, Florida.

Curtis will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his work ethic, and the quiet, steady way he lived his life. He will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
