David C. Fjelsted passed away February 28th, 2025, at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Ft. Myers, FL, at the age of 85.
David was born on July 21st, 1939, the 9th of 10 children to Ausman and Mary Fjelsted in Elk Mound, WI. In 1955 David’s family moved to Colfax, WI, where he and his father built an A&W root beer stand. This is where David’s love for wood craftmanship and building began.
