Don passed away at home on January 27th with family by his bedside. He struggled with lung disease for the last 4 years.
Born in Salisbury, Maryland. Don spent countless hours on the Chesapeake Bay both fishing and working. He had a work boat to catch crabs and oysters. Fishing was always a passion of his. Don also had his pilots license and loved to fly. He was a die hard Orioles and Redskins fan. After moving to Florida in '95 he learned to scuba dive. He was a member of the Caloosa Dive Club and loved the trips and made good friends. Don was a craftsman who took great pride in his workmanship. He owned his own cabinet building company in Florida. Worked part-time doing maintenance at Physicians Primary Care where much of his work is still in use.
He is survived and will be missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, neices, nephews and wonderful inlaws and dear friends.
His remains will be taken back to Maryland at a later date. A celebration of life is being planned.
