Douglas Eugene Cato

Douglas Eugene Cato, 77, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on April 26, 2017. Cato was originally born in Belmont, North Carolina to his mother, Helen Mae (Nichols), and father, Walter Curtis Cato.

Not only did he graciously serve his community, but he bravely devoted his entire life to protecting his country while working as a supply handler for the United States Military. We will forever honor, and we will never forget his loyalty and courage in which he displayed during his enlistment, as well as his employment with the Air Force. Douglas will always be remembered as a beloved son, loving husband to his wife, Dawn Cato, a devoted father, a proud veteran, and will be missed by all those who had the privilege of meeting him.
