Earnest Wilson Horne

Earnest Wilson Horne, age 82, was born on August 24, 1940, to Earnest Elbert Horne and Ruth Sullivan Horne, and died on January 12, 2023, at Page Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Frances Christine. Earnie lived his entire life in Fort Myers except he attended Toccoa Falls Institute in Toccoa Falls, Georgia where he graduated High School on June 1, 1959. Mr. Horne worked in the Food Service Industry as a Cook and later as a Process Server until he had to care full-time for his Mother until her Death on June 22, 2003. Earnie leaves behind a Community of Friends who were his chosen Family. If you knew Earnie, you would have had the privilege of knowing a very kind person who lived with too much adversity throughout some of his life. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by all that knew him. A Private Celebration of Life will be held on January 29, 2023, by his friends.
