Gary L. Lampka, 73, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on February 20, 2026, in Fort Myers.

Born on May 11, 1952, in Buffalo, New York, Gary was a proud graduate of Canisius High School and went on to earn both his Bachelor’s and MBA from Canisius College in Buffalo. He built a successful career as a Technical Sales Consultant with S.A. Day Manufacturing.

Gary had a deep love for life and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially boating on the Niagara River and fishing wherever the fish were biting. He was a member of the WNY Parrot Head Club and had a passion for music and live concerts, particularly enjoying Jimmy Buffett, Zac Brown Band, and Kenny Chesney. He was also an avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Lampka; his mother, Theresa “Terry” Lampka (Szeliga); and his sister, Karen A. Lampka.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Lampka; his stepsons, Thomas Wutz (Jennifer) and Jared Wutz (Christine); and his cherished grandchildren, Thomas, Talia, Quinn, Meghan, Shea, and Connor. He is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Gary was deeply loved by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 25 at 1:00 PM at Champions, located at 1071 Wehrle Drive, Williamsville, New York.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Gary will be remembered for his love of family, music, and living life to the fullest - “Same thing, only different… time to sing, time to dance, living out my second chance.”
