Glendal Ray "The Concrete Man" Nichols passed away October 28, 2017 in Naples, Florida. He was born in Crestview, Florida on July 8, 1953 to John and Daisy Nichols. Glen is preceded in death by his parents, brother Clyde Nichols, two sisters Lois Porter and Faye Carr.  Glen is survived by his beloved wife Kay Nichols of 35 years who was loved and cherished , his three children Denice (Dennis) Burke, Jamie (Stephanie) Nichols, and Ashley (Philip) Naylor. He had five beautiful grandchildren, Austin, Dakota, Trenten, McKenzie, and Blake. He leaves behind three brothers, James, Levon, Erza Nichols and two sisters Gail Odom, and Rettie Sargent.

Glen was an avid angler throughout his life and loved the water. He shared the love of fishing with Jamie, whom he has shared many fishing trips. He also has many many memories with all his children on the water and at home with his beloved wife and best friend. Glen also leaves behind his two canine friends Chloe and Bentley, whom he loved dearly.

A celebration of life is to be held November 11 at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Golden Gate, 2741 Santa Barbara Blvd, Naples, FL 34116. Reception to be held directly after service.
