Gregory Allen Starleaf

Gregory Allen Starleaf, age 62, passed away on Thursday March 19, 2015.

Greg was born on December 10, 1952 to the late Joanne Liffrig Starleaf and Robert Starleaf in Makoti, North Dakota with his three siblings: the late Larry Starleaf, Kay Schenfisch Starleaf and Karen Hass Starleaf. Greg graduated from North Dakota State University in 1974 with a degree in business marketing.

Greg had a lifelong career at Elanco, a division of Eli Lilly. He worked his way up from a salesman in Lubbock, Texas and retired as a Marketing Director in Indianapolis, Indiana. During his 28 years at Elanco, Greg had the opportunity to travel across the world and live in Paris, France with his family as the Country Manager.

After retiring at the age of 52, Greg enjoyed the time with his wife, Gina and three kids, Chris, Stephanie, and Nicole in Carmel, Indiana. He spent his free time at Woodland Country Club where he served on the Membership Committee and played golf as often as Indiana weather permitted. When the youngest left for college, Greg and Gina began traveling for the winters to Fort Myers, Florida and moved there permanently in 2013. At the Club of Renaissance, Greg lived out his final years playing golf with friends and family in the sunshine state.

Greg is survived by his wife, Gina Starleaf and their three children: Christopher Starleaf of Indianapolis, Indiana, Stephanie Starleaf of Fort Worth, Texas and Nicole Starleaf of Bloomington, Indiana.

Memorial Information:

A memorial will be held at the Club of Renaissance (12801 Renaissance Way, Fort Myers, FL) on Saturday March 28th from 3:00-5:00p.m. Service begins at 3:30.
