Jean L. Leger

Jean Irene (LaRose) Leger, 85, of North Fort Myers, FL. Widow of Rodolph (Rudy) Leger, died on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in Fort Myers, FL. Jean was born in Hartford, Ct. She was the only daughter of 4 children of the late Walter E. and Irene (O’Reilly) LaRose. Her siblings Walter LaRose (preceded in death), Henry LaRose (preceded in death), and Robert LaRose of Hartford, Ct. Jean and Rudy later moved with their children to Burlington, North Carolina, before settling in Fort Myers, FL in 1978. She is survived by her four children, Laura and husband Robert Conti of Lehigh, FL. Denise and husband William Lindsey of Fort Myers, FL. Randy and wife Laura of Keystone Heights, FL. Sharon and husband Jeff Hutchko of Fort Myers, FL. In addition, she is survived by eight grandsons, Tony Hutcherson, Keith Hutcherson, Kenny Dykema, Jeremy Kanable, Josh Kanable, Will Hutcherson, Jonathan Leger, and David Zink. Two granddaughters, Karie Brewer and Kathy Back and 25 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on March 7th at 11am in the Colonial Chapel at First Assembly of God in Fort Myers, FL.
