Jean Ann (Nuss) Ziemann

Jean Ann Ziemann, resident of Fort Myers Beach with the late Cecil Van Vlyman, daughter of Howard Nuss and Beverly Quillan (nee Reardon), sister to Steve, Brian, James and Mary Beth, mother to August, Jennifer and Amanda, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2021.

Jean was born on October 23,1944 in Chicago and was married to August Lee Ziemann. Jean worked for several banking institutions and was the president of the Flossmoor Credit Union before retiring to Estero Island permanently. Jean continued to be an activist for the Waterside community and for St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

Jean was loved by many and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church of Fort Meyers Beach or the Crowclinic.org.

The family wishes to thank everyone for the love and support shown to us during this difficult time and would ask that you make a toast or share a fond memory of her, so we may celebrate the absence of this peachy, pint-sized powerhouse of a person.
