Jeffery Motsinger

Jeffery Ted Motsinger, 42, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Fort Myers.

Jeffery was born on December 21, 1983, in Naples, Florida. He was a graduate of Fort Myers High School and later attended the University of Phoenix. Jeffery proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Carl Vinson.

Jeffery will be remembered for his love of family and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Hamilton; his great-grandmother, Ethel Brunner; and his grandmother, Betty Stewart.

Jeffery is survived by his daughters, Hailey Stewart and Julianna Motsinger; his parents, James and Nancy Stewart; his brother, Nick Stewart (Kristin); and his sister, Jill Stewart. He is also survived by his grandmother, Beverly Hamilton; his aunts, Jean Skinner and Karen Hamilton; his cousin, Mike Skinner (Tracy); and his former wife and close friend, Tara Stewart, with whom he shared a child.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans in Jeffery’s memory.
