Jeffrey Scott Krupp ("Jeff"), a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2025, on his fifty-seventh birthday.
Jeff was born on July 28, 1968, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Burr Krupp and Henriette Krupp. He graduated from Newago High School. After high school, Jeff enlisted in the United States Army and served his country for seven years, until he was honorably discharged in 1994. While in the Army, Jeff served a tour of duty in Panama as part of Operation Just Cause. During the Gulf War, Jeff served at the front line as part of Operation Desert Storm. Following his military service, Jeff was a dedicated member of the Fire Prevention Division of the Bonita Springs Fire Department for twenty years. He served as Fire Inspector.
He was such a loving and caring human being who had a soft spot in his heart for kids and animals. He would drop everything to help others, even when it meant putting his needs aside. He was known as the "Funkle" (fun uncle). He was the favorite uncle due to his shenanigans. You were lucky if he called you his friend, and we are blessed to call him family.
He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Ann Krupp; grandchildren Keira (12), Dominic (8), Liam (7), Marley (6), Zoey (3), and Ella (2); his sisters, Linda Borden (Mike), Sandi Nguyen (Sinh), and Dianna Rendak; brother, Tim Krupp; thirteen nieces; three nephews; and extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, with viewing from 10:00 – noon, and the service beginning at noon. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Jeff's life and service.
In place of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org in Jeff's memory. He is deeply missed and will be forever remembered.
