Jeffrey Blaine Zalewski, 62, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on July 9, 2026.
Born on October 3, 1963, in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Jeffrey was a hardworking man who spent much of his career as a skilled tile layer. He took great pride in his work and was known for his dedication, craftsmanship, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.
Outside of work, Jeffrey found joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed building birdhouses, tending to his garden, and spending time outdoors. He appreciated creating things with his hands and took pride in making the world around him a little more beautiful.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Zalewski; his brother, Steven Zalewski; his brother, Randal Zalewski; and his sister, Terry Zalewski.
He is lovingly survived by his mother, Ilene Peake Zalewski; his brother, Eric (Jennifer) Zalewski; his daughter, Kimberly Young; his beloved grandchildren, Haroldic, Emily, and Ralynn; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will forever remember him with love.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Park Alliance Church, 7469 San Carlos Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33967, with Tim Adams officiating.
Jeffrey will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of family, and the simple joys he found in building, gardening, and spending time with those he loved. His memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
