Joy Lynn Meddaugh departed her loving family on August 28th, 2021, at Lee Memorial Health Systems in Cape Coral, FL. Joy was born in Rhinelander Wisconsin, daughter of Virgil and Alice Olson. She was the 5th of 6 children. Joy lived most of her life in Wisconsin where she met and married the love of her life Robert D. Meddaugh on Feb.14 1994. They relocated to Fort Myers Florida in 2020. She was a born-again Christian in 1995 and carried her faith proudly. Joy was a devoted Christian. She would read from her bible every morning and prayed for all her loved ones. She was a long-time member of the Christian Life Church of Delavan, The Cross Roads Family Church of Wautoma and recently Life Church of Fort Myers. She was an amazing artist and enjoyed painting. She loved to bake and enjoyed time with her doggies. Joy is survived by her Husband Robert Dale Meddaugh, Son Daniel Lee Grice, Sisters Garnet and Rolland Wolff, Daisy Olson, Jean and Jerry Smetana, and Brother Roger and Debbie Olson, many nieces, nephews, cousins as well as her extended Meddaugh Family Joy was preceded in death by her Mother Alice, Father Virgil, Brother Verlin and Stepson Tyler. A celebration of Life in Wisconsin with due notice given. In Lieu of Flowers, please donate to Life church at 11735 Plantation Rd. Fort Myers, Florida 33912.
