Joyce Runyan

IN LOVING MEMORY OF JOYCE Joyce Runyan, 88, of Butler NJ, passed peacefully on July 4th, 2020 in Cape Coral Hospice House, FL. Joyce was born to Lillian Vreeland and James Spencer on May 21st, 1932.  She went to school in New Jersey and graduated from Butler High School. Soon after she became self-employed and opened up thrift stores, Classy Consignment and Bargain Hut in Pompano, FL. She married Melvin Runyan on December 23rd, 1974 in Ft. Lauderdale. One of her main hobbies was Mystery Shopping and Sweepstakes. She enjoyed the beach, watching movies and hearing from her grandchildren. Joyce had a voice from the angels as she loved singing in her younger days, even now the grandkids can agree. There was magic in her touch and sunshine in her smile.  There was love in everything she did to make our lives worthwhile. Though her smile is gone forever, and her hand we can not touch, we still have so many memories of the one we loved so much.
