Lois Ann Vanderlip passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Born in Malvern, Pennsylvania, Lois lived a life filled with love, creativity, and adventure. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, swimmer, traveler, baker, quilter, seamstress, inventor, and talented craftswoman.
A proud Cadette and Ambassador with the Girl Scouts of America, Lois found joy in teaching young people valuable survival skills and life lessons. A banking instructor by trade, she was skilled in building teams and problem solving and excelled in her career.
Her adventurous spirit took her across the United States with her beloved husband, and she especially cherished time spent in Maine, Virginia, and Florida.
Lois is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Donald Edward Vanderlip; her children Donald and Kristina Vanderlip of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Sarah Vanderlip of Port Charlotte, Florida, Alex and Shannon Vanderlip of Reading, Pennsylvania; and her treasured grandchildren Isabella, Madisyn, Benjamin, Hudsen, Reese, Cahlen, Jessie, and Allison.
Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and her family takes comfort in knowing she is now in Heaven with the Lord—dancing joyfully in high heels.
