Marguerite Stark Martell, 87, had been a resident of Fort Myers and Lehigh Acres for the past 66 years. She passed away Friday in Winkler Court Nursing home, Ft. Myers. Marguerite was born March 8th, 1933 in West Fort Ann, N.Y. to late Paul and Beatrice (Johnson) Stark. Marguerite was a beautiful wife, mother and grandmother. If she didn’t have something to clean she would make a cake or something so she had something’s to clean up. She was very much a family person.

Marguerite is survived by her four children Ron Martell, of Lehigh Acres, Ted (Darlene) Martell, Destin  Fl.; Cathy (Pat) Legros, Sulphur, La; Danny (Tammy) Martell, Lehigh Acres; six grandchildren Matt (Jodi) Michael ,Amy , Billy, Tonya, Kelcie, numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; one sister Dorothy (Dick) Kubricky; William(Janet) Stark all of South Glen Falls, New York.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, Melvin F

Martell; two sisters Lilas Bean ; Helen Yole; two brothers Paul Stark; Allen Stark and her grandson Marcus Padgett.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Winkler Court Nursing Home for the 7 years of taking excellent care of her.

There will be a graveside service  on Thursday at 11:00 am at Alva Cemetery
