Merle Mendoza

Merle passed on June 13th. She was born on 10/10/1954, to Andrew and Laura Beatrice, in Buenos Ayres, Trinidad.

She moved to the Keys in the early 90’s went on to pursue a career at the Florida Keys Children Shelter, Plantation Key School, Key Largo School, Office Depot and Courtyard by Marriott Key largo. She made the move to Lehigh Acres/Fort Myers in 2021 to be closer to family and made another work family at Springhill suites by Marriott.

She is survived by her mother Laura Beatrice, Son Ronnie Mendoza, Grandchildren: Brianna, Daniel, Renaldo and Renecia.

Merle will be remembered for her compassion and love for all the children she took care of, her beautiful smile and caring heart. Never saying no to an adventure, trips or shopping.

Her love for her family members, her chosen family and friends.
