Michael Ray Myers

FORT MYERS, FL- Michael R. Myers, 68, was born in Tooele, Utah, on September 8, 1956. He left this world to be present with the Lord on April 22, 2025, in Fort Myers, Florida, surrounded by family.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Braun; father, Martin R. Myers; stepfather, Bob Braun; brother, Marty Myers; and daughter, Kristen Myers. He spent his early years in the 82nd Airborne, was a successful entrepreneur, and received a master's degree in Management at Hodges University.

Mike is survived by his son, Shelton Sorenson; daughter, Karen Newberry (Jay); daughter, Jennifer Tabora (Tino); son, Michael Myers II (Kim); daughter, Jessica Winston (Stacy); and daughter, Elizabeth Jones (Chris). Mike had 27 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and brother Mark Myers (Carol), brother Matthew Myers, brother Bobby Braun (Jill), and several nieces and nephews.

Mike loved traveling, hunting, fishing, telling jokes, and Jesus. He had a special bond and relationship with each and every child and grandchild. Mike was funny, strong-willed, and filled our lives with laughter.

We love you, Dad, you will always be in our hearts and deeply missed, but never forgotten.
