Mildred “Louise” Romano, 63 of North Fort Myers, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in Fort Myers, Florida. She is survived by her loving husband Christopher, her son Dr. Andrew Mohammed of Las Cruces, New Mexico; sisters Barbara Vix of Washington, DC; Carol Downes (partner Anne Posticch) of Columbia, Maryland; Linda Pitts (Robert) of King George, Virginia; Brother Richard Emidston (Betty) of Laurel, Maryland; sister Mary Flanagan of Lusby, Maryland; several nieces and nephews and two very close dear friends Sharon Rose (Ron) of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Susan Meadows of Williamsburg, Virginia
“Louise” was a registered nurse for many years, mainly employed at MCV Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. She also was a case manager. Her last RN position was at Big Ben Hospital in Alpine, Texas in 2012. In her spare time Louise loved to crochet and cook. She loved traveling in her free time and being with family and friends.
