Richard John Levesque passed from this life on December 10, 2024. He was born on March 26, 1958 in Escanaba, Michigan to John and Dorothy Levesque. During his youth, he moved with his family to the Green Bay area where he resided for much of his life. Following graduation from Green Bay Southwest High School in 1976, he proudly served in the US Navy. Richard worked in various occupations which included employment in the State of Wisconsin prison system and later serving as an inspector for the Community-Based Residential Facilities system. Upon his retirement in 2012 he moved to Fort Myers, Florida where he purchased, renovated, and managed rental properties. Richard was a man of great faith. He could visit with family or friends for hours. Favorite topics of conversation included politics, finance and most importantly Bible scriptures. Richard is survived by his wife of 24 years, Victoria (Coenen) Levesque; his parents, John Levesque and Dorothy (Fritsch) Levesque; brothers, Daniel (Dawn) Levesque, Gary Levesque, and Charles Levesque; brother-in-law, Dave Moes; niece and nephews, Brian Moes, Kevin Moes, Parker (Beth) Schaefer, Paige (Ty) Pelot, and Paul (Allison) Schaefer; mother-in-law, Aurella (Van Camp) Coenen; Victoria’s siblings, Suzanne (Rick) Elkington, Phyllis (Dennis) Techlin, Carl (Margaret) Coenen, Carol Coenen, Steven (Lori) Coenen, Joseph (Sue) Coenen, Mary Bastian, Shelia (Jim) Bowers, Ronald (Tina) Coenen, Daniel (Patti) Coenen, and Edward Coenen. Further survived by many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Moes; his first wife, Robin Levesque; sister-in-law, Wendy Levesque; father-in-law, Robert Coenen; brothers-in-law, John Coenen and Mark Bastian. A celebration of Richard’s life will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.
