Robert A. Olinder Jr., 88, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on May 6, 2017. Olinder Jr. was originally born in Boston, Massachusetts to his loving parents, Wilma D. and Robert A. Olinder Sr. He contributed his time and efforts to his community by working as a letter carrier.
Prior to his employment with the United States Postal Service, he bravely served his country as a member of the United States Air Force by fighting in the Korean War. Robert displayed a great deal of dignity, integrity and courage during his time spent overseas. We can never thank him enough for the risks he took and the sacrifices he made.
Mr. Olinder will always be remembered as a devoted husband to his wife, Joan C. Olinder, a beloved father, caring son, and last but not least, an honorable veteran.
