  Ronald Howard Goldsborough of North Fort Myers and Brownstown, IL passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Cape Coral Hospital after a brief illness. He was 84 years old, born on February 3, 1932 in Brownstown, IL to the late Harold and Bernadine Goldsborough. Ronald was a retired flight engineer with the United States Air Force. His 20 years of service included tours in Vietnam. After his service in the Air Force, he worked an additional 20+ years with Caterpillar. Ronald was a Master Mason at the Grand Lodge for 52 years and was a member of Argenta Lodge in Illinois. He was also a Worthy Patron ten times in Order of the Eastern Star, Royal Patron three times in Order of the Amaranth, and Grand Royal Patron in 1995 for the Order of the Amaranth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Leeanne Dilley and Jerry Burgess. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 42+ years Icylene Goldsborough; his sons Mark Allen (Theresa) Goldsborough of Brownstown, IL; his sister Elanor Belcher of Greencastle, IN, seven grandchildren, Danielle (Bradley), Jacob (Megan), Gabrielle, Jason (Carrie), Ryan (Amanda), Cindy and Melissa. He is also survived by his great grand children Aireal, Kyle, Sara, Mark, Natalie, Carley, Styler, Charles James, Bryce, Arabella, Harper Gavin and Kamryn. A memorial service will take place for Ron at Guiding Light Community Church in North Fort Myers on Thursday March 3, 2016 at 12pm.
