Sandra Jean Mahn

Sandra Jean Mahn, 74, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on October 30, 2025. Her departure was gentle, quiet, and full of the same grace she carried throughout her life.

Born on November 15, 1950, Sandra lived a life defined by dedication—to her family, to her work, and to the people lucky enough to know her. She pursued some college education before beginning a long and meaningful career as a Rural Postal Carrier. Day after day, year after year, Sandra became a familiar and comforting presence along her routes. Neighbors knew her not just as the woman who delivered their mail, but as someone who genuinely cared—someone who remembered faces, asked about families, and showed up every day with steady reliability. Her work ethic was quiet but unshakable, a reflection of her character.

At home, Sandra’s life centered around the people she loved most. She is survived by her devoted husband, Russell, who walked with her through every chapter of life; her son, William, whose milestones she celebrated and whose challenges she supported with unwavering belief; and her daughter, Shanan, who shared a deep bond with her built on conversation, laughter, and the kind of understanding only mothers and daughters know.

Sandra was also blessed with several grandchildren—each one holding a special place in her heart. They were her joy, her pride, and her soft spot. She cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was a simple visit, a shared story, or a smile across the room.

Sandra’s presence was gentle but strong, humble but impactful. She was the kind of person who made people feel grounded simply by being near. Her kindness didn’t need to be loud to be remembered; it left quiet impressions that will remain for years to come. Her family takes comfort in knowing she left this world peacefully, wrapped in the familiarity of her home and the love that surrounded her every day.
