Sharon Soble, age 93, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully at her residence at Calusa Harbour on May 11, 2026.

Born on September 5, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois, Sharon spent her career in clerical administration. Later in life, Sharon retired to Southwest Florida, where she found happiness in the warm climate, coastal beauty, and relaxed pace of life. Fort Myers became more than just her home, it became the place where she enjoyed many of the activities she loved most.

She enjoyed spending time at the beach, searching for seashells along the shoreline, and taking in the beauty of Florida's Gulf Coast. Creative by nature, she also enjoyed ceramics, had a love for fashion and a collection of art.

Nothing brought Sharon more joy than her beloved dogs, Chase, Buddy, and her numerous other dogs throughout her life. They were treasured companions who provided her with comfort, friendship, and countless happy moments throughout the years.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved mother Jean, loving husband Larry and her sister Arlene who she had a special and amazing bond with. She is survived by her cousin, Ellen Lebowicz who was like a little sister to her and Arlene.

She was loved and cared for by her dear friends Leslie Smith, and Joanne, as well as her many friends who will forever cherish her memory and the many ways she touched their lives.

Those who knew Sharon will remember her gentle spirit, independent nature, and appreciation for the simple things that make life meaningful. Whether enjoying a day at the beach, spending time with her beloved pets, or sharing conversation with family and friends, Sharon found joy in everyday moments and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and quiet strength.

A Memorial Service celebrating Sharon's life will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Gallaher American Family Funeral Home, 2701 Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida 33901. The service will be officiated by Cantor Barry Butensky of Temple Beth Shalom.

Sharon's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
