Steven J. Jagoda

Steven James Jagoda was born on January 27, 1966, in Erie, PA. He was called home unexpectedly on May 29, 2019. Steven is survived by his loving wife, Dena of 32 years, 2 children Steven and Khyl (Marrissa Miner), granddaughter Sofia, brother Marc and sister Jane. Steve graduated from North East High School in North East, PA in 1984. For the last 21 years Steve has worked for the Florida Department of Corrections as a Corrections Officer assigned to a DOT crew. He was also involved in a Leadership Program through TMC Productions/Grow Within for the last 5 years where he discovered that he was and always will be an Important, Worthy, Creative Man. He loved spending time with his family and friends, tinkering in the garage on small engine's, making bracelets and key chains, supporting others with what ever it was they needed; a strong shoulder to cry on, life or relationship coaching, conversation or one of his huge teddy bear hugs. Services and Funeral will be held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 9065 Ligon Court, Fort Myers FL 33908 on Wednesday June 5, 2019 from 5-7pm with service starting at 7pm. Funeral services by Gallaher American Family Funeral Home in Fort Myers. The family is asking that you wear something purple in remembrance of Steve.
