Terrell W. Brooks, Sr.

Terrell W. Brooks, Sr. 67 of Cape Coral passed away in November 2016. Born 12/31/1948 in Miami, FL. He was the son to the late Roy H. Brooks, Jr. and mother Lois M. Brooks who still resides in Cape Coral, FL. In addition to his mother, Terry is survived by his children; Eddisse (Brian) Turner, Erika (Troy) Ferencik, Terrell "TJ" Brooks, Jr. and Kris (Corina) Hardy; brother Richard B. Brooks and sister Diane B. (John) Wakely; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Blake, Georgia, Tori, Austin, Cheyenne, Gracie, and Mia. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends, especially friends at the Wounded Warrior Anglers Association of SWFL. Preceded in death by brother Roy H. Brooks, III

Terry was a graduate of Miami Senior High School and FIU in Miami. He was a proud US Air force veteran in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He later served as a Police Officer and educator in Palatka and Dade County School Board Police where he  also taught Criminal Justice. Terry enjoyed many years of flying ultra lights and fishing.

A Memorial gathering will be held at Gallaher American Family Funeral Home on Monday December 5, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made in Terry's honor to Wounded Warrior's Angler's Association of SWFL.
