Timothy Weise, 59, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2025, at Gulf Coast Medical Center following a period of declining health. He was born on February 9, 1965, in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, to Max and Barbara (Pecko) Weise.
Timothy graduated from Cardington High School and pursued further education at The Ohio State University and trade school, becoming a certified mechanic. Over the years, he worked as a mechanic, owned and operated the family business Purple Indian Pizza, and later returned to his roots as head mechanic at a golf course.
On September 7, 2019, Timothy married Vickie (Feichtner), who survives him. He is also survived by his mother in law Joyce Feichtner; stepson Cory Nolen and his wife Kyona; grandson Silas; sister Peg (Weise) Griffin and her husband Bill; nieces Tabitha and Tori; sister-in-law Deb Gerhart and her husband Ron; brothers-in-law Richard Conkle and Glen Feichtner; as well as numerous extended family members including uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father in law Carl Feichtner and sister-in-law Linda Conkle.
Timothy had a zest for life and pursued many passions including golfing, drag racing, piloting planes, ham radio operation, snowmobiling, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, remodeling projects, listening to music and spending time with his beloved Yorkie dogs. He will be remembered as an honest, sweet, and loving man who served as a father figure to many.
A celebration of life will be held at Cypress Lake Methodist Church in Fort Myers on February 15th at 11 am, and a celebration of life at a later date in Cardington, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cardington High School Golf League, one time scholarship to a trade school, the Gideons or a charity of the donor's choice.
Timothy's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
