Tod David Hoffecker

Tod David Hoffecker, 63 of Bonita Springs, FL passed away October 28, 2018 from natural causes at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice.

Tod was born and raised in Reading, PA where he met his best friends.  Tod will be sorely missed by this tight group of friends, he grew up with through Grammar, Middle, High school and College.  Although many have moved to different states, the friendships were cultivated, maintained and grew stronger as 55 years have passed.  These friends and his children are the gifts my husband left me, everyone of them have been in close contact. I am thankful and humbled by their kindness and generosity.

Tod attended Marrietta College.  He was co-owner with his brother, Terry of Boones Tavern in Birdsboro.  He managed Your Place Restaurant in Shillington.  Tod was the Original Kitchen manager in the first Islamorada Fish Company Restaurant in the Keys.  He created the menu and original recipes.  For 12 years Tod was Food and Beverage Manager at Naples-Fort Myers Dog Track.  He was currently working at Assisted Living Facility Brookdale, with some very kind people..

Tod left a loving family, his wife, Valerie; sons, Jeremy and Christopher; daughter, Morgan; daughter in law, Eliana; granddaughter, Emily; brother, Bob (Dorothy) and sister, Gail.

Tod is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy; and his brother Terry He loved his Family and Friends without limits, Known for his dry sense of humor and quick wit.  ALWAYS thought situations through before he spoke and when he finally did give an opinion we listened.  He loved his music and art.   The most special thing about my husband, How much he was loved, by everyone.  Truly loved and Respected, A kind and unique man.  There is a void, a considerable deep loss.
