Victoria "Vicky" Amandarecis Mejia

Victoria Amandaleris Mejia, 44, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at her home in Fort Myers. She was born on December 19, 1978, in Union City, New Jersey. She is the daughter of Edgar and Sandra (Amaro) Nieves. Victoria was known to all her friends and family as Vicky. Vicky graduated from Carol City High School located in Miami, Florida, in 1997. Upon graduating from high school, she married Julio Mejia on June 14, 1997. In 2000, Vicky and Julio had their first son, Andrew Mejia. In 2000, Vicky and Julio moved to Fort Myers, Florida and started their own home inspection business, which she was the Vice President until her passing. In 2005, Vicky and Julio had their second child, a daughter, Angelina Mejia. In 2021, Vicky started working part-time at Bellisimo Salon until the time of her passing. Vicky was loved by everyone who knew her. She loved to cook. She loved spending time with her family. She loved music and movies. She will be remembered for her loving personality, her beauty, and her love for her husband, children, and family. Vicky is survived by her husband Julio, her son Andrew, her daughter Angelina, her parents Edgar and Sandra, her younger sister Desiree (Nieves) Martinez, and her younger brother Edgar Nieves Jr. Vicky’s family will hold a Farewell Service.
