Walter Zook

On Tuesday, October 13, 2020, Walter C. Zook, loving husband, and father of three children, peacefully passed away at the age of 92. Walt was born on May 25, 1928 inn Lancaster, PA. He received a BS in Chemistry from Frankin and Marshall College and an MS in Chemistry from Penn State and worked at Rohm and Haas Chemical Company for 40 years. Walt was an extremely kind of gentle person and had a great sense of humor that improved the lives of those around him. He had an intellectual curiosity that made him a joy to be around. Walt is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Ruth, his sons John (Beth), Bob, and Dave, his grandchildren Lou, Mike, Claire and Lucy, and his great-grandson Alex. The immediate family will have a private celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the St. Jude's Children's' Fund.
