William Francis Burke, 72, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on May 19, 2026, at Cape Coral Hospital. He was born on January 30, 1954, in Queens, New York.
William attended Brockport State College and later enjoyed a career with Verizon Communications before retiring. He enjoyed golf, football, and time spent with his family.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Michelle Burke; daughters, Brittany B. Tomacheski and her husband Michael, and Catherine B. Rodriguez and her husband Christian; granddaughters, Savanah, Raelynn, and Rya; brother, Anthony E. Burke and his wife Carol; sister, Victoria Eaton and her husband Terry; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Gallaher American Family Funeral Home.
