Yrenia “Renie” S. Romero (Salazar), 69, of Saginaw, MI passed away on October 14, 2020 in Lehigh Acres, FL.

Visitation will be 11AM till 12PM on Saturday October 24, 2020 at First United Methodist Church of Immokalee.

Funeral services will be held 12PM till 1:15PM Saturday October 24, 2020 at First United Methodist Church of Immokalee with Ariza Reyes (niece of Renie), officiating. Cremation to follow. Arrangements are by Gallaher American Family Funeral Home.

Yrenia S. Romero was born in Saginaw, MI to Joe and Dominga Salazar Sr. on April 24, 1951. She graduated from Saginaw High School. Attended and graduated from Saginaw Valley State University. She worked as a Social Worker for the State of Michigan for 25 plus years. She retired in 2002. She enjoyed her time with her family and two grandchildren. She loved to cook, dance, and enjoy a good party. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.

Yrenia is preceded in death by Joe and Dominga Salazar Sr., Joe Salazar Jr., and other family members.

Yrenia is survived by Jemal Alemdar (son), Briana and Brittany Hernandez (daughters), Josie (Isaac) Gallegos (sister), Aiden Hernandez (grandson), Analisa Hernandez (granddaughter), aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many loving family members.
