I've had the pleasure to know Cathy for over 8years. I only knew her for less than two months when she saved my life at the Dollar tree by giving me CPR to the Medics arrived. Without her I wouldn't be here today. She was more than a friend she was my second mom. We had many laughs together have in said that , we also cried many tears together about life. Cathy extended her heart and her home too many people. She was sarcastic and quick gotta come back. I miss that and so much more. my heart hurts so much but I know she's in a better place. I love you AC❤️ till we meet again.

Cathy McCaffrey Moore, 65, passed away in N. Ft. Myers, Fl, January 28, 2021.
Preceded in death by parents, George and Mary Hollis McCaffrey and a sister, Linda McCaffrey. Cathy enjoyed word games, playing cards, her family and friends.
Cathy was born in New Albany, a1973 graduate of New Albany High School with a bachelor degree from IUS. She leaves two daughters, Rebecca Reiss, Sarah Reiss, a granddaughter, Audrey Phillips. Sisters, Holly (Ray) Theriot, Maureen (Bill) Sellers. Jerry Schenck, brother. Her dear friend, Nikki LaPosta. Also nieces and nephew, Mary (Joel) Hamlyn, Mike (Robbin) Sellers, Ginger (Kent) Shirley. Great Niece, Muse Hamlyn, great nephew, Wyatt and Gabriel Shirley and Patrick (Jessica) Sellers and Viridiana Sellers.

From Maureen Sellers: Cathy was my younger sister. She was super smart. Toured Europe after high school graduation.
She always had a wicked sense of humor and a ready laugh. We enjoyed playing cards and word games. A dedicated mother, she took care of her daughter, Becca for over 30 years, and raised her granddaughter, Audrey, She was blessed to have a close friend in Nikki LaPosta who helped her with Becca and Audrey, At the end of her life, Nikki was her strength and kept her going. We will miss her sense of humor and our warm Florida visits with her.

I have wonderful memories from childhood of Aunt Cathy. Grateful that she is no longer suffering. Fly with the angels!
Eternal rest grant unto her,
O Lord, and let perpetual light
shine upon her. May the souls
