In Loving Memory of Frances Louise Zydel
Frances Louise Zydel passed away peacefully on Saturday morning November 6, 2021 at the age of 93 where she resided at American House, Fort Myers Florida.
The daughter of Victor and Linda Diekhaus, Frances was born on December 6, 1927 and raised in Secaucus, New Jersey as one of seven children.
She was married for 51 years to the love of her life, John Vincent Zydel until his passing in 2001. They raised two daughters in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey and retired to Myerlee Gardens in Fort Myers, Florida in 1988 where they enjoyed many good times with friends and family.
She loved to be around her family, play cards, complete crossword puzzles and enjoyed the music of Frank Sinatra and others from that era. Fran enjoyed fashion, theatre and current events and the love of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family members.
Frances is survived by her two daughters, Deborah and son-in-Law Steven Buonomo, daughter Suzanne and son-in-law Craig Lampitt, grandson Kyle Lampitt, wife Jennifer and son Ash, grandson Lt. Commander Mark Buonomo and wife Ashley, great grandchildren, Kolbe, Elizabeth, Thomas, Fulton and Rose, grandson Alec Lampitt, her loving sister Edna Staron, 21 nieces, nephews, and their extended families.
She was preceded in life by sister Katherine and husband George Gaggero, brother Victor and wife Margaret, sister Dorothy and husband Walter Zydel, brother Stephen Diekhause, brother George and wife Dolores, brother-in-law Valentine Staron, nephew’s Robert Zydel, Robert Diekhaus, and William Diekhaus.
Her family will always remember her as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Service will be held at Church of the Resurrection, 8121 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33919 Friday November 26, 2021 at 10 AM with a reception to follow.
