Greg Wayne Barker, 57 of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away December 1, 2023 at home surrounded by family. He was born on April 14, 1966 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Greg was the loving father of Andrew Barker, Jessica (Barker) Beezley and her husband Tommy Beezley IV, Sydney Barker, Step daughter Halley Abdulaz, and Leslie Lukas. He was also a cherished grandfather to Tommy Beezley V. Greg is survived by his two brothers Mark Barker, and wife Gina Barker of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and Jimmy Horton of Cape Coral Florida. He will be deeply missed by his nephew Brandon Barker, Ryan Barker, and niece Katherine Barker, all of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Doreen White, and father, Norman Barker.

Greg was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He spent his life helping others, no matter their need. Greg had a special bond with his grandson, little Tommy, and cherished spending time with him. He also enjoyed the company of his many friends, especially when they gathered to watch NY Giants football games.

Greg was the owner and President of Coastal Paper and Chemical in Cape Coral, Florida, the business he started and successfully grew for over 25 years. He took great pride in his work and was highly respected in his field.

In his free time Greg pursued his passion for martial arts. He achieved a black belt in Taekwondo, and an honorary black belt in Goju Ryu and also shared his knowledge by instructing others. Greg was an active member of various organizations, including the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Elks Club, Moose Club, and Sons of the American Legion. These affiliations allowed him to connect with others who shared his interests and values.

A celebration of Greg's life will take place on December 23, 2023. The details of the service will be shared with family and friends.

Greg Barker’s kindness, dedication, and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed. May his memory live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
