I love the picture, it is best to remember Guy living his life to the fullest. He was a hard worker who expected that from others, yet he also loved his personal time out on his boat, fishing, hunting or cooking what he caught.
I trust he is at peace, no longer having to fight this terrible disease. I pray that he was met at heaven’s gate by his mom and dad.

I can’t tell you how blessed and grateful I am to have known Guy Slifko since I was 15 and he was 18 and though we went our separate ways we always managed to keep in touch. Throughout many years we laughed ,we cried, we loved and we shared life. I have absolutely no regrets for taking care and loving this man until the bitter end. Some of his last words to me were, “I will always be with you more than you will ever know,.” and I actually believe that to be true. I love you and I miss you more than you will ever know. My heart is breaking with sadness. ….Rhonda
