Kenneth L Rumsey, 74, resident of Fort Myers, FL, passed away unexpectedly in his home on August 1, 2019. Ken was born August 30, 1944 in Ogden, UT. He spent most of his childhood in Rigby, ID where he learned to love the outdoors. Ken always felt at home around water. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, and was an avid boater. He loved reading, traveling, music, socializing, sunsets, and his little dog “Sophie”.
Ken achieved success in his career because he was hard working, driven, and unyielding. His work often required him to relocate all over the country, which enabled him to form many lifelong friendships. Ken was grateful for these friendships. Ken’s greatest love was his family. He will be missed by: his wife Tara Rumsey; sisters Belva Post (Jake) and Carolyn Cox (John), brother Steve Rumsey (Lori); children Hollie Spillman, Cordell Rumsey (Sheila), and Angela Stephens (Greg).
