Ronald Sdun of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on August 4, 2020, on his 79th birthday. He is remembered by his wife of 56 years, Patricia, and their children, Shelley (Marty) and Chris (Daphne). He leaves behind his three grandchildren, Madeleine, Lauren, and Lukas; his brother, Norman (Carol), and a number of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Ron is an example of a life well lived. He served in the U.S. Army, and because of his love for aviation, he later learned to fly. He worked for Oscar Mayer in Madison, WI, first as a spice chemist and then as a corporate pilot. He finished his aviation career with Philip Morris in Milwaukee WI. In addition to aviation, his passions included golfing, morning crossword puzzles, cooking, card games, and fishing. He enjoyed traveling with the Comanche Society and the Mercedes Club, both of which he was a member. He loved all animals, especially his two dogs, Motley and Sheldon. Ron’s wishes were to be cremated and have his ashes spread near Drummond, Wisconsin, where he vacationed at his aunt’s cabin. Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society.
